This modification will give you plenty of space to put extra modules like preamplifier , special filter ... .It will be very easy for you to add extra switch , buttons to control them as it is not easy to place them on the original panel .
| Sooner or later , trying to add more module inside the ATLAS210 box ,you will encounter problem to find a place where to put it .Obviously you can reduce the size of your modules using CMS components . The other way is to expand the box of ATLAS210 .This is quit easy to do and does not require special skill | You only need some piece of copper clad and some tin/lead solder | |

You first remove the bottom of the Atlas210 and you solder all around the box a sheet of copper clad as shown herewith .The height of the box depends on the room you need .When it is done you put back the original bottom of Atlas on top of the new box . | |
