Abstract of WO 9946229  (A1)
The invention concerns a method for preparing an alkaline-earth metal or zinc salt of beta -dicarbonyl compounds, which consists in contacting, in the absence of solvent, at least a reagent selected among beta -ketoesters, beta -dicetones, with an alkaline-earth metal or zinc oxide, with a reagent/oxide mol ratio ranging between 2/1 and 2.4/1, under mobile mechanical stirring.
