Abstract of WO 9858898  (A1)
The invention concerns a method for the izomerisation of an epoxide with a carbonyl function in the epoxide alpha characterised in that it consists in subjecting said epoxide dissolved in a slightly polar medium to the action of an acid whereof the pKa (measured in an aqueous medium) ranges between zero and 3 and the solubility in benzene is at least low (symbol d or delta in the "handbook of chemistry and physics) at a temperature between 50 DEG C and 150 DEG C. The invention is applicable to organic synthesis.
